Project Description

For Our Young Gynecology Patients

When meeting with adolescents, Dr. Schwartz takes special care to prioritize both the medical care and emotional support of the young gynecology patient.

Adolescent gynecologic issues may arise from problems present since birth, or may develop as the child grows, such as the delay or absence of breast growth and menstrual periods. Most of adolescent gynecologic issues are easily treatable, but they should be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible to avoid the development of more serious conditions.

Even if the patient is not sexually active, this visit will answer all of the questions that they may have about what changes their body is about to go through.
